Christopher Dunlap

Christopher Dunlap is a Brooklyn-based artist whose paintings investigate the perceptual interplay between depth and flatness through shape, repetition, and pattern. His work creates subtle shifts in perception, challenging viewers to become aware of how they see and inviting meaning to emerge through sustained engagement.

 

Dunlap has mounted solo exhibitions at spaces such as Marvin Gardens (Ridgewood, NY), Sardine Gallery (Brooklyn), and Hiromart Gallery (Tokyo). His work has appeared in group exhibitions across the U.S. and internationally, including at McKenzie Fine Art (New York), TSA LA (Los Angeles), Albada Jelgersma Gallery (Amsterdam), and the Spring Break Art Fair (New York).
