Stacy Fisher

Stacy Fisher is a New York-based artist whose practice bridges painting and sculpture through a distinctive engagement with structure, materiality, and improvisation. Working primarily with oil paint on wooden forms, Fisher creates hybrid works that resist categorization—blurring the boundaries between image and object. 

 

Fisher holds an BFA from The Ohio State University. She has exhibited widely in solo and group exhibitions, with recent shows at Left Field Gallery (CA), Hesse Flatow, and Mother in New York. Her work has been featured in Artforum, The Brooklyn Rail, and Two Coats of Paint.
