Stephanie H. Shih (b. 1986, Philadelphia, PA) lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.

Stephanie H. Shih’s “Trending: 15 Artists Whose Prices Would Be Higher If They Died Right Now” are sculptural labels she has made for the group of artists in the exhibition, a thought-provoking exploration of the themes of life, death, and the passage of time. The inclusion of flies on the labels adds an element of symbolism and depth to the artworks, inviting viewers to contemplate the transient nature of life and the inevitability of death every time they look at a new artwork during the show.
