The artist’s “Tondo” sculpture series uses readymade cast iron cookware filled with objects suspended in resin as the basis for exploring metaphorical connections. Here, in “Tondo (Secondary Chain)” the iron material gives the sculpture a sense of permanence and timelessness, while the circular route of the chain, interspersed with human and animal figurines, symbolizes the cyclical nature of life.
